Fetrilon® Combi 2 is considered to be the leader amongst chelated trace element foliar fertilizers because of its high nutrient concentration, excellent solubility and proven efficacy in a wide range of applications. Fetrilon® Combi 2 is the ideal product to eliminate micronutrient deficiencies, to safeguard and optimise crop yield. Complete chelation with EDTA ensures that metallic micronutrients are protected against premature fixation and can be rapidly absorbed and easily translocated within the growing plant. This ensures that Fetrilon® Combi 2 is more effective than products based on mineral salts & other less stable chelates.

Forms of application

This fertilizer product can be taken up by the plant via leaves and roots. For a rapid and thorough effect, this product should be applied as foliar Fertilizer. Frequent applications of smaller amounts increase the efficacy. To lower the costs of application, this product is usually applied in combination with crop protection products.


The rate per hectare should not be exceeded to avoid an overdose. If Fetrilon® Combi is applied with the normal plant protection sprays then the highest quantity per 100L water should not be exceeded. Excessive concentration can result in damage to the crop by normal spraying methods. When sprays are applied by air or ULV methods an even fine dispersion of the spray liquid over the plant surface is achieved. The recommended rates can therefore be retained in spite of the increased concentration. When a spray solution is being prepared for ULV application 0.2kg Fetrilon® Combi 2 can be dissolved in 1.0L water

Preparation of the Spray Solution

The tank is filled to approximately 2/3 of its capacity, Fetrilon® Combi 2 is then allowed to run in slowly and evenly while stirring continuously until it has completely dissolved, after which the required amount of plant protection product can be added in the same manner and the tank filled up with water. The spray solution should be used up immediately and should not be stored.

Soil application

When plants are very chlorotic and/or very sensitive and foliar application is not possible, this product can be applied via the soil. Prepare a solution of 5-20g product/1L water and apply per square metre. On alkaline soils the effect is improved by adding 30-50g ammonium sulphate to the solution.

Rate of Application

For intensive cropping with high yield levs more micronutrients are required, and hence it is best to use more frequent applications at the lower rate.
