Description
The Green-T® 29-0-0, 50% SRN Calcium, Sulfur & Micronutrients, is a specialized liquid fertilizer, formulated by Plant Food Co., primarily designed for professional turf management applications. This product stands out as a high nitrogen solution that integrates four distinct nitrogen sources to deliver both immediate and sustained nutritional support to turfgrass. Ammonium nitrate, urea and ammonium thiosulfate are three quick release components present that facilitate rapid uptake by turfgrass roots even in cooler weather conditions. The remaining “50% SRN” indicates half of the N content in a slow-release form, i.e., triazone that resists leaching or volatilization and breaks down gradually through microbial activity, providing a steady N supply over several weeks. Additionally, it adds calcium and sulfur for cell wall development, enzyme activation, and chlorophyll production, with EDTA chelated micronutrients to enhance overall plant health and soil compatibility without precipitation or fixation in the soil matrix.
Benefits
- Cost effective high nitrogen solution that optimize input efficiency, supporting turf quality, density, and color.
- Provide rapid turf response and quick greening even in cool weather due to quick release N sources.
- Slow release triazone offers long-lasting turf response and sustained nutrition over extended periods.
- Calcium strengthens cell wall and overall plant structure, while sulfur aids in protein synthesis, chlorophyll formation, and soil acidification where needed.
- EDTA-chelated micronutrients prevent fixation that enhance stress tolerance and enzyme activation, delivering higher quality turf.
- Supports consistent turf performance on golf greens, tees, fairways, and fine turf with fewer applications required.
Application
Directions for use:
Greens, Tees, and Fine Turf: Apply 50-250 ml of Green-T® 29-0-0, 50% SRN Calcium, Sulfur & Micronutrients with 6.6-8.8 L of water per 100 m2 (0.5-2.7 gallons of Green-T® 29-0-0, 50% SRN Calcium, Sulfur & Micronutrients with 66-88 gallons of water per acre), every 7 to 14 days throughout the season. This application shall provide 0.04-0.19 lb. of actual Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft.
Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf and Lawns: Apply 100-280 ml of Green-T® 29-0-0, 50% SRN Calcium, Sulfur & Micronutrients with 4.4-8.8 L of water per 100 m2 (1.0-3.0 gallon of Green-T® 29-0-0, 50% SRN Calcium, Sulfur & Micronutrients with 44-88 gallons of water per acre), every 2 to 4 weeks throughout the growing season. This application shall provide 0.07-0.21 lb. of actual Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft.

Precautions
- Always conduct a jar test for tan-mix compatibility when combining with other products.
- Avoid applications during periods of extremely hot, dry weather or heavy foot traffic to prevent potential turf burning or stress.
- For higher N rates, irrigate lightly immediately after application to reduce foliar burn risk.
- Heating evolves irritating ammonia vapors, heating to dryness may release ammonia, ammonium sulfate, sulfur, and sulfur oxides.
- Strong oxidizers can cause explosive mixtures if heated to dryness.
- Stable under normal conditions, avoid heat, flames, oxidizers, acids or alkalis.
- Shelf life is more than 2 years under proper storage.
Handling & Use
- Use only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
- Avoid breathing mist/vapor, wear eye protection and gloves.
- In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
- Wash hands and skin thoroughly after use.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling.
- Avoid eye contact and release to environment/ water.
Storage
- Store above 32°F (0°C)- Do not allow to freeze.
- Keep container tightly closed, in cold or dry places away from sunlight and heat.
- Avoid interaction with heat, oxidizers, acids or alkalis.
- Store away from incompatible materials like strong oxidizers including nitrates, nitrites and chlorates.
- Avoid temperatures above 120°F (49°C) and below 32°F (0°C).
First Aid
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air, if breathing is difficult, give oxygen/artificial respiration; seek medical help if unwell.
- Skin contact: Flush with water for at least 15 min., remove contaminated clothing.
- Eye contact: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 min., seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Ingestion: Rinse mouth; do not induce vomiting; call poison center or doctor immediately if unwell.
Spill and Disposal Tips
- Wear PPE, keep people away.
