Description
Omite Miticide is a true miticide (acaricide) from the sulfite ester group containing Propargite 57% EC. It is specially formulated to control a wide range of mite pests in recommended crops including tea, chilli, apple and brinjal. The product is suitable for application when mite infestation appears in the crop.
Omite works through direct contact, residual contact and vapor action within dense crop canopies. It interferes with important mite enzyme systems and disrupts normal metabolism, respiration and electron transport functions in the mite nervous system. This stops mite activity after application and provides effective control. Omite is also effective against mites resistant to other miticides and is suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Application
- Apply at the appearance of mite infestation.

- Use a knapsack sprayer battery sprayer or power sprayer fitted with a flat fan nozzle.
- Prefer spraying during early morning or late afternoon on a non windy day.
- Follow the recommended crop-wise dosage and dilution.
