Description

Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN is a clear liquid fertilizer by Plant Food Co, designed primarily for turfgrass and ornamental plants. It serves as a nitrogen-rich nutrient source formulated to provide sustained release of nitrogen over an extended period. The fertilizer contains 30% nitrogen, from which 40% consists of immediate release urea for fast greening, while remaining 60% is in slow-release nitrogen form, derived from urea polymers, specifically methylene urea and triazone for steady and long-lasting nutrition. This dual component structure ensures a balanced delivery of nitrogen with low risk of burning grass. Urea hydrolyzed rapidly in soil, while urea polymers break down by soil microbes, which extend the release period to 60 to 90 days. The exact speed of microbial breakdown varies based on environmental and soil conditions; therefore, the timing of nitrogen release is not fixed. This liquid formulation shows high stability when blended with certain P, K, or micronutrients sources.

Benefits

  • It provides rapid initial N uptake by urea with combining slow-release polymers, ensuring steady nitrogen supply over 60-90 days.
  • The dual-action formula promotes consistent plant metabolism, even biomass, and deeper roots development for resilient turf.
  • Provides superior nitrogen efficiency by aligning nitrogen availability with ongoing plant uptake needs.
  • Minimizing leaching, volatilization, and runoff, resulting in less environmental impact.
  • The formulation contains low salt index, providing low burn risk and high safety on sensitive turf.
  • High chemical stability with excellent tank mix compatibility and application flexibility.
  • Controlled release provides naturally timed nutrition that enhances soil health and microbial populations over time.
  • Controlled feeding reduces explosive growth that leads to less frequent mowing and lower maintenance labor.
  • Supports deeper roots, better stress recovery, denser turf, and aesthetic quality in landscapes.

Application

Directions for use:

Greens, Tees and Fine Turf: Apply 127-255 ml Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN with 6.6-8.8 L/ha (1.4-2.8 gallons Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN with 66-88 gallons of water per acre), every 7 to 14 days throughout the growing season. Application may be made to either wet or dry foliage. This application shall provide 0.10-0.20 lb. of actual Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft.

Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf and Lawns: Apply 191-382 ml Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN with 6.4-8.8 L/ha (2.0-4.1 gallons Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN with 44-88 gallons of water per acre), every 21 to 28 days throughout the growing season. This application shall provide 0.14-0.29 lb. of actual Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft.

Green-T® 30-0-0, 60% SRN may be used as the sole nitrogen source or combined with Green-T® 12-3-12 in a fertilizer blend for application on fairways.

Lawn Care Program:

Cool Season Grasses: Rates may vary from 0.5-1.0 lb. (227-454 g) of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. in 4 to 5 applications at 8-to-12 week intervals throughout the growing season.

Warm Season Grasses: Rates may vary from 0.75-1.00 lb. (340-454 g) of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. in 5 to 6 applications at 8 to 12 week intervals throughout the growing season.

Trees and Ornamentals:

Deep Root Feeding: Deep root feeding applications may be made in either spring or fall. Suggested rates of application are 1.6-3.2 lbs. of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. Inject the fertilizer solution 8 to 12 inches deep on a grid pattern 2 to 3 feet apart so that the area beneath the tree canopy and one-third of the area outside the canopy is treated. See that plenty of water is added to your deep root feeding program.
