Description
Solomon Insecticide is a Bayer insecticide formulated with Beta Cyfluthrin 8.49% + Imidacloprid 19.81% w/w OD. It offers dual-action insect control through contact, systemic and ingestion activity, making it effective against a wide range of insect pests in multiple crops.
Beta Cyfluthrin acts on the insect nervous system as a sodium channel blocker, causing rapid excitation followed by knockdown and death. Imidacloprid interferes with the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system, disrupting signal transmission and resulting in effective pest control. The O TEC oil dispersion formulation provides improved rain fastness, better retention and enhanced penetration.

- Brinjal: Aphids, Jassids, Shoot & Fruit Borer – 70–80 ml/acre in 200 L water (0.35–0.40 ml/L). Waiting Period: 7 days.
- Soybean: Girdle Beetle, Green Semilooper – 140 ml/acre in 200 L water (0.70 ml/L). Waiting Period: 17 days.
- Cotton: Jassid, Whitefly – 80 ml/acre in 200 L water (0.40 ml/L). Waiting Period: 21 days.
- Chilli: Thrips, Aphids, Whitefly – 124 ml/acre in 200 L water (0.62 ml/L). Waiting Period: 5 days.
- Cucumber: Whitefly – 200 ml/acre in 200 L water (1.00 ml/L). Waiting Period: 5 days.
- Wheat: Aphids – 160 ml/acre in 200 L water (0.80 ml/L). Waiting Period: 31 days.
- Cashew: Tea Mosquito Bug and Thrips – 100 ml/acre in 200–400 L water (0.25–0.50 ml/L). Waiting Period: 45 days.
- Tea: Mosquito Bug and Looper – 120 ml/acre in 160 L water (0.75 ml/L). Waiting Period: 7 days.
- Method of Application: Apply as a uniform foliar spray using a knapsack, battery or power sprayer fitted with a flat fan nozzle.
- Prefer spraying during the early morning or late afternoon on a non-windy day.
