Zitrilon 15

Zitrilon^® 15 can be taken up by the plant via leaves and roots. For a rapid and thorough effect, Zitrilon^® 15 should be applied as foliar fertilizer. Frequent applications of smaller amounts increase the efficacy. To lower the costs of application, Zitrilon^® 15 is usually applied in combination with crop protection products. Zitrilon^® 15 is miscible with most common crop protection products. Before applying mixtures that have not been used so far, carry out a miscibility test on a small scale.

Soil application

In the case of very sensitive crops, and where the technical equipment for foliar application is not available, Zitrilon^® 15 can also be applied as soil fertilizer. Prepare a 0.5-2.0% Zitrilon^® 15 solution and apply 1L of this solution per m2. Apply 2-12kg/ha and productive cycle buried in the soil at a depth of 5-20 cm in furrows or in holes around the plant (in fruit trees with 4 to 6 holes per tree).

Fertigation

Zitrilon^® 15 may also be applied via drip irrigation: 300-500g Zitrilon^® 15 per 1000L of water every 10 days.

Rate of application

For a preventive treatment a low number of applications with low concentrations (see table) are sufficing. If plants show slight deficiency symptoms, the higher rates are applied in 3-4-week intervals till the deficiency is cured. Plants suffering from a severe deficiency are weakened and should be treated repeatedly with the lower rate at 2-week intervals.
