Description
Crystal Izuka Herbicide is a highly effective post-emergent herbicide formulated with Halosulfuron-methyl 75% WG for targeted control of Cyperus rotundus in sugarcane fields. It works systemically by moving throughout the weed plant and destroying it from the roots and underground tubers, helping to prevent regrowth.
This herbicide is absorbed through both leaves and roots and acts by inhibiting the ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) enzyme, which disrupts protein synthesis in weeds. This results in yellowing and stunted growth within 7–14 days and complete control within 3–4 weeks. The water-dispersible granule formulation makes it easy to mix and apply, ensuring effective coverage and reliable performance in the field.

Application
- Wear PPE: Use gloves, goggles, and protective clothing before handling
- Prepare Slurry: Mix 36 g herbicide with a small quantity of water
- Dilution: Add slurry to 150–200 litres of water per acre
- Spray: Use flat-fan or hollow cone nozzle for uniform coverage
- Timing: Apply at 3–5 leaf stage of Cyperus weed
- Crop: Suitable for sugarcane fields
- PHI: Maintain minimum 45 days pre-harvest interval
