Description
Roundup Herbicide is a non-selective, systemic herbicide powered by Glyphosate 41% SL IPA Salt. It is designed to control grassy weeds, broadleaf weeds, sedges and many annual and perennial weeds in tea plantations, non-cropped areas and rice fields.
Roundup works by inhibiting the EPSP synthase enzyme required for amino acid synthesis in weeds. After application, the herbicide moves from the leaves to the roots, stopping weed growth. The weeds gradually turn yellow, dry up and die completely after a few days. It is suitable for post-emergence application and pre-plant use in rice.

Application
- Tea: Controls Axonopus compressus, Cynodon dactylon, Imperata cylindrica, Polygonum perfoliatum, Paspalum scrobiculatum, Arundinella bengalensis and Kalm grass.
- Dosage: 800 ml–1.2 L per acre.
- Water Volume: Approx. 180 L per acre.
- Dosage per Litre: 4.4–6.6 ml/L.
- Waiting Period: 21 days.
- Non-Cropped Areas: Controls Sorghum halepense, dicot weeds, monocot weeds and general weeds.
- Dosage: 800 ml–1.2 L per acre.
- Water Volume: Approx. 200 L per acre.
- Dosage per Litre: 4.4–6.6 ml/L.
- Rice (Pre-Plant Application): Controls Echinochloa spp., Cyperus iria, Eclipta alba and Marsilea quadrifoliata.
- Dosage: 400 ml–1 L per acre.
- Water Volume: 160–200 L per acre.
- Dosage per Litre: 2.5–5 ml/L.
- Spray directly on young and actively growing weeds using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan or flood-jet nozzle.
- In rice, apply only before planting and at least 3 days before planting.
- Avoid spraying during windy or rainy weather.
- Do not spray on standing rice crop.
